LOCALTR / PUBLIC URLS

Share your running project with a link.

Show a client a demo or reach a test endpoint from outside. A public HTTP link connects to the app running on your Mac.

Requests and responses pass through the LocalTR relay infrastructure.

Stay in control of sharing.

Open a public URL to a local HTTP service with an active trial or Pro. Request a subdomain you prefer; acceptance depends on availability and server validation.

  • Add a password

Require Basic Auth for new requests. Your application still needs its own access controls.

  • Pause new requests

Pause sharing without deleting the URL. Instant cancellation of all ongoing transfers is not guaranteed.

  • One tunnel per device

A second public connection replaces the current client. The Mac, LocalTR and local service must stay running.
